There was a ghost bike locked to a stop sign a block down from my apartment on 6th Street. A cyclist died on that corner and it’s something I took to heart on every commute home as I pedaled past it. There is a lot of history behind this bike now placed at the corner of Trenton & Main. A mid 60′s steel bicycle made in France that weighs close to 30lbs, it was the bike I was going to do my first triathlon on & that’s been hanging in my garage since I was 5. When the accident happened with Roy I knew it would make a stellar ghost bike. There is clamp welded to the top tube so the bike remains permanent and the chain has been spot welded to the chainring like many of the other components so that it will forever remain in one piece.
